Ulysses Illustration Workshop

This coming Saturday I will be giving a short talk on illustration at the Asmolean Museum in Oxford as part of the Ulysses Illustration Workshop. The idea behind the workshop is to interpret James Joyce’s literary masterpiece Ulysses through the medium of illustration.

There will also be an introduction by Cleo Hanaway, an Oxford University doctoral student writing on Ulysses, and some Joycean songs performed by Oxford band Flights of Helios.

It should be fun!

Birds

Blimey, It’s been awhile since the last post huh? Thing’s have been kinda chaotic around here recently so the blog has been low priority. Hopefully I will be able to update with some new fun things soon. In the meantime here are some real quick sketches of some stuffed birds I did in the Natural History Museum whilst killing time in London a couple of months back.

Bunny and the Bull

I finally received my vinyl copy of the Ralfe Band’s Bunny and the Bull soundtrack today! It was fun project to work on and i’m really pleased with the final result. The soundtrack itself is wonderful too and I highly recommend giving it a listen. I’m itching to design another vinyl sleeve now…

If you’d like to buy a copy of the album you can get it here.

Super Robot Mailer

My new promotional mailer is finally ready! I’m dead happy with how they turned out and it was definitely worth the extra effort to create something a little more special than the standard postcard. With any luck they’ll avoid the art director’s bin and possibly even drum up a bit of work. Now to start licking all those stamps…

If you’d like a free copy of the mailer drop me an email.
